How was this possible?
We removed the speed limiter and increased power through chip tuning. We use only original chips from the Chinese market, where the Tank originated. You may have noticed that the power of the same car can vary in different countries. This is due to various factors—for example, in Russia, power figures are often reduced because of high transport taxes. However, the engine’s potential remains, and the firmware unlocks it. Thus, no harm is done to the engine’s durability, as it is designed to handle the extra load.
How safe is the chip installation?
All work on this model is done via software through the OBD diagnostic port, without removing or disassembling the ECU. We do not require removal of environmental systems, and you get excellent results without it. Importantly, the dealer warranty remains intact, as there are no programming counters triggered, and the car can be returned to factory software at any time.
The stock manufacturer specs are 220 hp and 380 Nm. Of course, you want more power and torque for such a vehicle. The Stage 1 firmware adds about 50 hp and 120 Nm, resulting in 270 hp and 500 Nm under the hood.
The question arises: what benefits does this boost bring besides better dynamics? We’re happy to share several advantages:
- Acceleration time decreases — you reach desired speeds faster and overtake more easily;
- Instant throttle response — no delays when pressing the gas pedal;
- The transmission becomes more responsive and flexible;
- Possible fuel consumption reduction by 1-2 liters with balanced driving (if you don’t race often). Importantly, fuel consumption does not increase after tuning, as engine efficiency improves and consumption remains stable.

Before: 10.08 seconds
After: 7.86 seconds
